DR. DAVID T WIJUNAMAI

Vice-President, GPTAM

Greetings from the office of the Vice-president, Global Partnership for Theological Accreditation and Mission (GPTAM)!

Theological Institutions are communities of faith and learning, guided by a theological vision. As such, the heritage of Biblical scholarship and response to the global context of theological education and mission urgency is imperative. The end result of the training in Bible colleges is for the purpose of soul winning and there is a need to send out more missionaries. True to its Aims and Objectives, GPTAM strives to strengthen member institutions in offering quality Theological Programs through Accreditation, Networking and Support Services.

In an ever growing secular and sacred sphere, leadership development for the Church is at the crux of Theological institutions, and thus requires special attention. GPTAM may be requested to provide guide for faculty and administration in addressing principles of leadership development through modeling, mentoring, coursework, internship and extracurricular activities.

If it is your aspiration and passion to usher in a robust Theological Accrediting organization, you will succeed in transforming your vision into a reality through GPTAM. Make use of this opportunity, and engage in a holistic development for institutional and ecclesiastical growth.

Board of Directors of GPTAM & CCGU, Inauguration cum Installation Day, 13 September, 2020,

STATEMENT OF FAITH

  1. We affirm that the Bible is the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

  2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through his shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

  4. We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration of the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

  5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

  6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; that they are saved unto the resurrection of life and they are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

  7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

  8. We affirm that the mission of the Church, according to the Scriptures, is to bring the whole gospel to the whole world in obedience to God.
